In a strong show of solidarity, the people of Salarzai tehsil in Bajaur have declared their unwavering support for the Pakistan’s Security Forces amid ongoing efforts to eliminate the remnants of terrorism in the region.

According to local sources, residents of the Toot Shah area have warned that they will be left with no choice but to vacate the area if the security checkpoint currently operated by the armed forces is removed. The local population sees the presence of security forces as essential for their safety and stability.

Community elders and tribesmen emphasized that they stand shoulder to shoulder with the military in the fight against terrorism. They consider the presence of the Pakistan Army not only a symbol of national security but also a critical line of defence against militant threats that have long plagued the region.

Security officials indicate that the situation in Bajaur is now largely under control. Most of the terrorist elements have either been eliminated, captured, or forced to retreat due to continued military operations and increased vigilance.

The firm stance of the local population, publicly rejecting militancy and calling for peace, sends a powerful message of unity. Elders have made it clear that while they continue to hope for a peaceful resolution, they will not hesitate to take a stand if violent elements threaten the peace again.

At a time when stability is gradually returning to the area, the unity between the people and the armed forces is being hailed as a decisive factor in securing lasting peace.
