Bahawalpur Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Aqeel visited Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH) on Tuesday, where he met with injured civilians, including women and children, who were wounded in the recent missile strike. He was accompanied by the Medical Superintendent of BVH and the Commanding Officer of CMH Bahawalpur.
During his visit, the Corps Commander inquired about the health and well-being of the injured and expressed solidarity with the families affected by the unprovoked missile attack, which targeted innocent civilian populations in Bahawalpur. Terming it a blatant act of Indian aggression, he reiterated the Pakistan Army’s unwavering commitment to defend the motherland and its people at all costs.
General Aqeel directed military doctors and paramedics to extend all possible medical care and support to the injured without delay. “We stand shoulder to shoulder with our fellow citizens in this time of crisis,” he emphasized, vowing that the Pakistan Army will continue to safeguard the nation against any form of hostility.
