In a major intelligence-based operation, Pakistani security forces have successfully apprehended two high-value militant operatives linked to outlawed extremist networks in the Dalbandin area of Balochistan.
According to official sources, the first operation led to the arrest of Khariji Khalil Ahmed, a key figure associated with Fitna al-Khawarij. His capture was the result of actionable intelligence gathered by security agencies.
Building on that breakthrough, forces swiftly launched a second operation in the same area, acting on information extracted during Khalil Ahmed’s interrogation. The follow-up raid resulted in the arrest of Khariji Naveed Mengal, reportedly connected to Fitna al-Hindustan.
Both individuals are believed to have been involved in planning and facilitating activities aimed at destabilizing the region.
Officials hailed the operations as a major success in the ongoing campaign against militancy, noting that swift coordination and precise intelligence were key to neutralising two significant threats in a single strategic sweep.
Security agencies reiterated their commitment to maintaining pressure on hostile elements and safeguarding peace in Balochistan and beyond.
