Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar on Wednesday praised the exemplary patriotism demonstrated across Pakistan and declared that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces in the face of Indian aggression. Addressing the National Assembly, he said the Pakistan Armed Forces had once again proven their superiority by effectively countering Indian advances both in the air and along the Line of Control, while exposing India’s false flag operations and attempts to manipulate global perception.
Tarar extended his gratitude to the opposition for their unity and patriotism, saying that the response to India’s cowardly nighttime attack showcased the collective resolve of the Pakistani nation. He said India relied on the world’s most advanced Rafale fighter jets, taking pride in what it claimed was superior technology, but the Pakistan Air Force shattered this illusion, forcing the enemy to retreat in humiliation.
He said India’s military misadventures ended in disgrace when Pakistan downed its jets and destroyed key installations, including a brigade headquarters. The enemy’s morale, he noted, plummeted after the loss of its aircraft, compelling India to resort to unarmed drones. “We intercepted and destroyed 25 Indian drones using both soft and hard kill methods,” he added, terming it a significant achievement of Pakistan’s air defense system. “The debris of Indian Rafales being shown by Indian media is evidence of our success.”
Tarar said India had now changed its strategy in desperation, using Israeli drones and targeting civilian populations, which he termed a cowardly act. He said Pakistan gave a befitting reply and continues to dominate along the LoC, inflicting severe damage on Indian positions. “India has even waved the white flag and pleaded for de-escalation, which is a testament to Pakistan’s military superiority,” he said.
The minister said India was targeting its own Sikh population, and even mistakenly crashed a drone into a Gurdwara. He said Sikhs across the world have declared they will not fight against Pakistan. “India’s attempts to use the Sikh community for its nefarious goals have failed. It is now targeting civilians on both sides of the border to hide its failures,” he added.
Highlighting India’s narrative manipulation, Tarar said the Pulwama and Pahalgam incidents were false flag operations used as pretexts for aggression against Pakistan. “India wanted to play the victim, but we exposed the truth to the world,” he said. He confirmed that the National Security Committee had authorized the armed forces to respond forcefully to any aggression, and that mandate had been executed with full capability.
“Our defense is in the strongest hands,” he reiterated. “Even in times of war, we know precisely how to respond. The armed forces have delivered a crushing blow to Indian arrogance and aggression. In the war of narratives, on the diplomatic front, and on the battlefield—India has faced defeat.”
He concluded by saying that Pakistan’s military capabilities far exceed those of India, both historically and currently. “India is making excuses to hide its shame, but the Pakistani nation will preserve this victory. The destroyed Indian drones will be displayed in our museums for future generations to witness the enemy’s failure,” Tarar said.
