In a brutal escalation of cross-border proxy violence, another student succumbed to injuries, raising the death toll to five in a heinous attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, allegedly carried out by operatives of the Indian-sponsored terror network “Fitna-e-Hindustan,” security sources confirmed.
Among the martyrs are four female students and one male student. The latest victim, identified as Haider, had been critically wounded in the attack and passed away despite medical intervention, the sources said.
Security officials described the assault as a cowardly act of desperation by India, which, after facing repeated military and diplomatic setbacks, has turned to targeting innocent children through its terrorist proxies. “This shameful and inhumane act reflects the frustration and moral bankruptcy of a hostile regime that now preys on schoolchildren,” said a senior official.
According to intelligence findings, Indian-backed elements are actively attempting to spread terror and instability in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “This attack is part of a broader pattern of proxy warfare designed to weaken Pakistan from within,” the official added.
Vowing justice for the victims, the officials asserted that the blood of these innocent children will not go unanswered. “Those behind this atrocity—including their foreign handlers—will be made to pay the price. Pakistan’s resolve to defeat terrorism remains unshaken.”
Security forces have launched a large-scale operation in the area, and investigations are ongoing. Authorities emphasized that every effort is being made to identify and eliminate the perpetrators and their sponsors.
