Another Afghan terrorist was neutralized in an intelligence-based operation conducted by security forces in Bajaur district, according to security sources.
The operation was carried out in the Samsai area following actionable intelligence regarding the presence of a terrorist. Security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a targeted intelligence-based operation.
During the operation, another Afghan terrorist, identified as Abu Ubaida, was neutralized. Sources said the terrorist was wanted in multiple terrorist incidents and was actively involved in militant activities in the region.
Following the operation, security forces initiated a search and clearance operation. Further investigations are under way to trace possible facilitators and links. Security forces remain deployed in the area, while search operations are ongoing.
No casualties among security personnel were reported.
