President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, has strongly condemned the recent Pahalgam incident, accusing the Indian government of orchestrating a false flag operation to stir war hysteria and divert global attention from its own actions.
In an official statement, Barrister Sultan claimed that the Modi government is gripped by a dangerous war frenzy and has once again blamed Pakistan without providing any evidence. He alleged that India staged the Pahalgam incident to malign Pakistan and obscure its own involvement in terrorist activities—not only in the region but also in countries like Canada.
He described the episode as part of a broader strategy by India to provoke regional instability and justify its repressive policies in Kashmir.
Former AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan also commented, asserting that India played a direct role in the Pahalgam episode. He warned that any aggression toward Azad Kashmir would provoke a strong response, and India would bear serious consequences for any misadventure.
These statements come amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan following India’s controversial actions in the aftermath of the incident.
