The Ministry of Interior of Afghanistan has categorically rejected reports suggesting that Acting Head Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani has resigned from his position. In a statement to the media, Ministry spokesperson Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani confirmed that the news circulating on social media is completely false and without merit.
Qani emphasized the importance of accurate reporting and urged media outlets to refrain from spreading unfounded rumors and propaganda that could mislead the public and create unnecessary confusion.
