The Afghanistan National Resistance Front (NRF) has carried out over 2,000 attacks against the Taliban over the past five years, a senior NRF official told lawmakers in Belgium.

Abdullah Khenjani, head of the NRF’s political office, made the remarks during a session at the Belgian Senate, emphasizing that none of these operations had resulted in civilian casualties.

Khenjani highlighted that hundreds of NRF members have been detained by the Taliban but affirmed that armed resistance continues unabated. He described Afghanistan as being in a period of transformation and expressed hope that the nation would progress toward justice and prosperity.

Addressing European policymakers, Khenjani urged that Afghanistan-related policies should not be dictated by Taliban demands. He also called for sustained support for Afghan women and girls and demanded an end to the deportation of Afghan refugees.

The statements underscore the NRF’s ongoing political and military activism, its commitment to civilian protection, and its appeal for international engagement in shaping Afghanistan’s future.
