Director General ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated that the target in Kabul was a depot containing Afghan Taliban ammunition, weapons, and drones.

In a conversation with Hamid Mir on Geo News’ program Capital Talk, the DG ISPR said that the explosions caused by the detonation of stored ammunition were visible across the city.

He further said that claims of civilian casualties are propaganda, adding that many Taliban fighters do not wear uniforms and operate in civilian clothing.

According to the DG ISPR, the Taliban also use drug addicts in suicide attacks.

He also alleged that drones being used against Pakistan are being supplied to the Afghan Taliban by India.

The DG ISPR emphasized that Pakistan has no conflict with the Afghan people, stating that they themselves are being held hostage by terrorist elements.
