In a disturbing development, the so-called “Islamic Emirate” of Afghanistan appears to be playing into India’s hands, as emerging reports reveal a coordinated propaganda campaign by Indian media, Afghan Taliban, and Fitna Al-Khawarij (TTP) aimed at maligning Pakistan through fabricated narratives and misinformation.
According to credible reports, Indian media outlets have been relentlessly circulating false and misleading stories against Pakistan to advance New Delhi’s regional agenda. On October 15, Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid falsely claimed on social media that Taliban fighters had seized a Pakistani tank a claim that Indian outlets immediately amplified.
However, independent verification by Fact Check Group exposed the claim as fake, confirming that the tank shown in the video was actually of Russian origin and already in use by the Afghan Taliban themselves.
In another instance, Zabihullah Mujahid alleged that Pakistan destroyed the Friendship Gate at the Chaman border crossing. Contrary to this claim, official sources confirmed that the explosion occurred on the Afghan side, where the Taliban had detonated an IED near their own gate. The Pakistani gate remains intact and fully operational.
Indian media also attempted to distort facts surrounding the recent Kabul explosion, falsely reporting it as a fuel tanker blast. Investigations revealed, however, that the incident was the result of a precision strike by the Pakistan Army targeting terrorist positions.
In yet another fabricated report, Indian media falsely identified Adil Dawar, a civilian from North Waziristan, as a martyred Pakistani soldier. Dawar himself released a video statement rejecting the baseless claim and exposing the malicious intent behind the propaganda.
These deliberate falsehoods, officials said, demonstrate how the Afghan Taliban and Fitna Al-Khawarij (TTP) have become tools of India’s hybrid warfare strategy, serving as instruments in a coordinated disinformation campaign against Pakistan.
Pakistan has consistently countered Indian propaganda with facts, evidence, and transparency. Once again, Islamabad is responding to cross-border hostility and disinformation through verified facts and credible disclosures.
According to security sources, the Pakistan Armed Forces have successfully foiled the joint designs of India, the Afghan Taliban, and Fitna Al-Khawarij, reaffirming that no amount of propaganda or hybrid warfare can undermine Pakistan’s national security, territorial integrity, or commitment to regional stability.
