Iran Warns of Swift Retaliation Against Any Attack, Showcases Missile Strength

Iran’s Defense Minister Amir Nasirzada has warned that any military aggression against the country will be met with immediate and forceful retaliation, citing the nation’s readiness to deploy advanced missile capabilities without delay.

In a strongly worded statement issued on Sunday, Nasirzada asserted that Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any provocation and will not hesitate to strike back with unprecedented firepower. “We will not delay in responding, and we will utilize weapons that have not yet been deployed,” he stated.

The defense minister’s remarks come in the wake of heightened tensions and threats from U.S. officials, which Nasirzada said are being taken seriously by the Iranian military. He emphasized that Iran, while not seeking war, will act decisively to defend its sovereignty and interests.

“If a conflict is imposed on us, our response will be immediate and comprehensive,” he warned, noting that U.S. and Israeli bases and interests in the region would be among Iran’s targets in the event of hostilities.

Underscoring Iran’s defense readiness, Nasirzada also announced the successful test of a new ballistic missile, launched from over 1,200 kilometers away and striking its intended target with precision. He said the test was a clear message of deterrence amid the region’s mounting geopolitical tensions.

While reiterating that Iran remains committed to avoiding war, Nasirzada’s statements highlight Tehran’s resolve to respond forcefully to any act of aggression. The developments have further escalated concerns of a potential confrontation, with observers urging de-escalation and renewed diplomatic efforts to prevent a wider conflict in the Middle East.
