Security forces eliminated four Khwarij affiliated with the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during a daring late-night operation near Link Road Ala-Dhand, close to the Chakdara Interchange and Toll Plaza.
The targeted raid, carried out within the jurisdictions of Ala-Dhand and Baizai Police Stations, dealt a significant blow to the TTP’s presence in the region.
Among the slain militants were Saleem, son of Sherzada, a resident of Darbar Badwan in Tehsil Adanzai, Lower Dir, and Muhammad Usman, son of Sadbar, from Jalwan Dhrai in Ala-Dhand. The other two were identified as Afghan nationals.
According to officials, the operation was based on precise intelligence inputs regarding militant movement in the area.
