Militants belonging to the extremist group known as Khwarij launched a sudden attack on security forces at the Arhangah check post, located on the border of Khyber and Orakzai districts.
During the fierce exchange of gunfire, Lance Naik Naeem Khan, hailing from Shakardara in Kohat’s Lachi Tehsil, was martyred while courageously confronting the attackers. He is hailed as a hero who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend his country.
The attack marks another alarming act of violence in the region, raising serious concerns over security in the tribal belt. Security forces have launched a search operation in the area to track down the perpetrators.
