Peshawar, Grenade Attack on Peshawar Police, Chamkani Police Station

Terrorists targeted a police post affiliated with Chamkani Police Station in Peshawar’s Tarnab Farm area with a hand grenade, injuring seven people, including two police personnel.

Police personnel were present on duty at the post when terrorists launched the attack. The grenade explosion caused injuries to seven people, who were subsequently shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.

Following the attack, local police, bomb disposal personnel and crime-scene teams reached the site and began collecting evidence to determine the nature of the attack and identify those responsible.

Police also launched a search operation in nearby areas soon after the incident to track down the attackers and prevent them from escaping or carrying out further attacks.

The attack once again highlights the persistent threat faced by police personnel in Peshawar, where terrorists continue to target security installations and personnel in an attempt to undermine security and spread fear among the public.

Further investigation into the attack is underway.
