Five workers were martyred and another was injured after terrorists opened fire on workers at a brick kiln in Saranan area of Qila Abdullah, Balochistan.
The terrorists targeted the workers while they were engaged in their routine work at the brick kiln, turning an ordinary workday into a deadly attack. The five martyred workers were from Punjab, while another worker sustained injuries in the firing.
Following the attack, security and law enforcement personnel moved to the area and launched a search operation to track down the attackers. The surrounding area is being searched for possible clues about the terrorists involved and their escape route.
The attack has once again exposed the brutality of terrorists who continue to target unarmed civilians and workers simply trying to earn a livelihood. Brick kiln workers, who often work under difficult conditions far from their home districts, were targeted without any apparent regard for their civilian status.
