Bannu Police has released a comprehensive list of 40 most wanted alleged terrorists, making public their names, aliases, photographs and the reward amounts announced for information leading to their arrest or neutralization. According to police, the cumulative bounty on the listed suspects stands at Rs158.5 million.
The wanted individuals are accused in a wide range of terrorism-related offences, including bomb attacks, assaults on security forces, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, targeted killings and other serious crimes.
The list includes Afsar Ali alias Pashton, Fazal Ghani alias Lawanai, Ilyas alias Qari Bilal, Zar Gul alias Uncle Paseen alias Abbasin, Hafiz ur Rahman alias Pakhan alias Muhsin alias Amir Din, Ijaz Khan alias Ijazi alias Jalali, Kifayatullah alias Nazim alias Jorai Master, Nematullah alias Molvi Abbas alias Abu Hasham, Abdul Qadus alias Maghvia, Akhter Muhammad alias Khalil, Hameedullah alias Faker Mand, Hayatullah, Khalid alias Qari Khalid, Saddar Hayat alias Abu Sofyan, Nasib Nawaz, Noorzeb alias Safdar, Amirzada Khan alias Safi, Faizullah alias Zia Ullah alias Mubaraz, Rabid Ullah alias Chig, Muhammad Zubair alias Khalid alias Jaffar, Ahmad Musharaf, Safeer Ullah alias Safir Ullah alias Hamza, Sadiq Ullah alias Amir Sadiq, Shams ul Haq, Malik Noor, Abdul Samad, Fateh Ullah alias Fateh, Tahseen Ullah alias Farooq, Rizwan Ullah, Naseerullah alias Umer alias Farhad alias Gidar, Hidayatullah alias Fateh Angriz alias Angir, Muhammad Tahir alias Ajiz, Zafarullah alias Salih Nisar, Hanif Ullah, Mohib Ullah alias Mohib, Amjad alias Amjid Iqbal, Shams uz Zaman alias Sham alias Shagga, Saleem Ullah alias Sharif Ullah alias Saif Ullah, Naseeb Ullah alias Maghaz, and Hassan alias Laghary.
According to the police list, Akhter Muhammad alias Khalil carries the highest bounty of Rs10 million, making him the most wanted suspect on the list. Rewards of Rs8 million each have been announced for Saddar Hayat alias Abu Sofyan, Amirzada Khan alias Safi, Muhammad Zubair alias Khalid alias Jaffar, and Sadiq Ullah alias Amir Sadiq. Meanwhile, Naseerullah alias Umer alias Farhad alias Gidar, identified in the document as a local TTP commander, carries a bounty of Rs7 million. The lowest reward announced for individuals on the list is Rs500,000.
According to the District Police Officer, Captain (Retired) Furqan Bilal, the combined reward announced for the 40 wanted terrorists amounts to Rs158.5 million. He added that the process of determining reward amounts for several other wanted terrorists is also underway and their details will be made public in due course.
Bannu Police has appealed to citizens to immediately share any information regarding the whereabouts of the listed suspects. Officials assured that the identity of informants will remain strictly confidential and that individuals providing credible information leading to successful action will receive the announced reward in accordance with the law.
