Security forces eliminated five terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in the Machh area of Balochistan, according to security sources.
The operation was launched after security agencies received credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the Dasht and Siaposh areas of Machh. Acting on the information, security forces moved into the area and carried out a targeted intelligence-based operation.
During the operation, terrorists opened fire, prompting security forces to respond effectively. In the ensuing exchange of fire, five terrorists were eliminated, sources said.
A clearance operation remains underway to ensure that no terrorist elements remain in the area. Further details are expected once the operation is concluded.
