Security forces conducted a targeted operation in Bara, Khyber District, resulting in the elimination of two Fitna-al-Khawarij terrorists during an intense exchange of fire. According to security sources, the operation was launched on the basis of credible intelligence regarding the presence of Fitna-al-Khawarij elements in the area. During the engagement, both terrorists were neutralized, effectively averting potential threats to local peace and security.
Officials further revealed that one of the eliminated terrorists was allegedly involved in a particularly brutal attack in which a security personnel was killed and subjected to extreme violence. Authorities described the successful operation as a significant step in ongoing counter-terrorism efforts to bring perpetrators of such heinous acts to justice.
Following the operation, a comprehensive search of the surrounding area was conducted to ensure the absence of any additional threats. Security forces remain on high alert and continue intelligence-based operations aimed at dismantling networks associated with Fitna-al-Khawarij and preventing further incidents.
