Federal Interior Minister Says India Is Behind Terrorism in Pakistan, Claims Evidence Exists

Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has categorically stated that Pakistan possesses credible evidence proving India’s involvement in sponsoring and facilitating terrorism within Pakistan, particularly in the province of Balochistan.  Addressing the media alongside Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti following recent terrorist attacks in the province, the Interior Minister said that India has been actively supporting terrorist elements through financing, planning, and operational assistance. He emphasized that the pattern of attacks clearly reflects external orchestration aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.

“The entire nation must be aware that terrorism in Pakistan is not homegrown. India is behind these acts, and we have solid evidence to support this claim,” Mohsin Naqvi stated.

The Federal Interior Minister noted that the recent terrorist attacks were carried out with careful planning; however, Pakistan’s security forces responded swiftly and decisively. He praised the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC) for their professionalism and bravery, stating that every terrorist involved in the attacks was tracked down and eliminated.

“I salute the Pakistan Army and FC for their outstanding response. Their timely action prevented further loss of innocent lives,” he said.

Mohsin Naqvi also paid tribute to Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, calling him one of the bravest leaders in the country. “If there were a few more leaders like Sarfraz Bugti, terrorism would be eliminated within days,” he remarked.

Expressing deep respect for the martyrs, the Interior Minister reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and internal security.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti thanked the Federal Interior Minister for immediately traveling to Quetta despite his demanding schedule. He informed the media that Mohsin Naqvi chaired a high-level security meeting to review the situation and coordinate future counter-terrorism measures.

The Chief Minister paid glowing tribute to the martyrs, stating, “We salute our fallen heroes. No hostile power can harm Pakistan. Our security forces responded with courage and professionalism.”

Highlighting the brutality of the attacks, Sarfraz Bugti revealed that terrorists targeted innocent civilians in Gwadar, where women and children from a Baloch family were mercilessly killed after terrorists stormed a labor colony. He said security personnel confronted the terrorist group with exceptional bravery and neutralized the threat.

“The terrorists entered a labor colony in Gwadar and ruthlessly murdered members of Baloch families. This act exposes their true face they are enemies of humanity,” the Chief Minister said.

Both leaders reaffirmed the resolve of the federal and provincial governments to eradicate terrorism from Pakistan and ensure that the blood of innocent civilians and security personnel does not go in vain. They stressed that all necessary measures will be taken to protect citizens and maintain peace and stability in Balochistan and across the country.
