So-Called “Operation Herof” Claims by BLA Exposed as Baseless, Security Forces Maintain Full Control of Balochistan

The Pakistan security establishment has firmly rejected recent claims by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) regarding their alleged control over parts of Balochistan and the so-called “Operation Herof,” labeling them as utterly false, fabricated, and a part of a coordinated social media propaganda campaign.

Authorities emphasized that these statements bear no relation to ground realities, and all major cities in Balochistan, including Quetta, remain completely under the control of security forces. Public life continues unhindered, and the people of the province are fully protected as law enforcement and paramilitary agencies maintain constant vigilance.

Security forces have consistently responded to every attempt by terrorist elements in a timely and effective manner, neutralizing threats before they could impact civilian life or infrastructure. The recent propaganda efforts are being carried out with the sole intention of spreading fear, misinformation, and panic, but they have failed to create any disruption on the ground.

“The so-called claims of BLA’s control over regions of Balochistan are entirely baseless. The state remains strong, its institutions resilient, and terrorists on every front have been exposed and forced into retreat,” said officials.

The statement serves to reassure the public, regional stakeholders, and international observers that security forces retain full operational control across Balochistan, and that the province remains safe and secure despite repeated attempts by extremist elements to exaggerate their capabilities.

Pakistan’s law enforcement and paramilitary agencies continue to uphold their mandate of ensuring public safety, safeguarding infrastructure, and countering terrorist propaganda, sending a clear message that terrorist attempts to destabilize the region will always be met with decisive action.
