Even Innocent Children Are Not Safe: Parents Decry Terrorist Strike on Cadet College Wana

The parents of students enrolled at Cadet College Wana have strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on the institution, declaring that the “cruel Khawarij” have stooped so low as to target innocent children.

In a video message, the parents stated that the so-called Khawarij neither belong to humanity nor to any religion, as their only objective is destruction. “We, the Mehsud and Wazir tribes, and the entire region stand united,” they affirmed, vowing that the terrorists of Fitna-e-Khawarij would never be allowed to infiltrate their areas. They lauded the security forces for their timely and effective response, which prevented a major tragedy.

It is pertinent to mention that security forces successfully thwarted an attack on Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan’s Wana area, killing two terrorists linked with India-backed extremist elements. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), terrorists belonging to the India-sponsored group Fitna-al-Khawarij attempted to assault Cadet College Wana by breaching the college’s security perimeter. However, the alert and swift action of the security forces foiled their nefarious designs.

The ISPR further reported that the attackers tried to ram an explosive-laden vehicle into the main gate, which caused the gate to collapse and damaged nearby infrastructure. The terrorists, however, were neutralized before they could cause further harm.

The parents reiterated their unwavering support for the Pakistan Army and the ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorism from the region, emphasizing that the people of South Waziristan stand shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in defending peace and stability.
