Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that Pakistan has taken effective and result-oriented measures against the presence of Kharijite elements inside Afghanistan, adding that the Pakistan Armed Forces will continue to serve as an unbreakable shield against every form of aggression and subversion.
Addressing students and faculty during his visit to the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) in Topi, Swabi, the DG ISPR spoke on a wide range of issues, including the recent Pakistan-Afghanistan border incidents, the broader national security environment, and the challenges posed by disinformation in the digital age.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry underscored that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to defend the nation’s territorial integrity and sovereignty across all domains conventional, hybrid, and informational. “Our armed forces have acted decisively against terrorism in all its manifestations, and will remain steadfast in protecting Pakistan’s peace and stability,” he said. “Pakistan has taken robust steps against Kharijite networks operating across the border,” the DG ISPR affirmed. “Our resolve is unshakable the Pakistan Armed Forces will stand as an impregnable wall against every enemy of peace.”
He highlighted that hybrid warfare and digital propaganda have become key instruments of hostile forces seeking to sow division within society. The DG ISPR urged students to act as ambassadors of truth and national unity, countering misinformation through knowledge, awareness, and responsible digital conduct.
Emphasizing the role of youth as the architects of Pakistan’s bright future, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said: “Our young generation is the strength and spirit of Pakistan. Their intellect, innovation, and patriotism will define our path toward lasting prosperity and progress.” He encouraged students to pursue excellence in science, technology, and research, noting that technological advancement and academic brilliance are the foundations of modern national power and self-reliance.
During the interactive session, students expressed pride in the professionalism and resilience of the Pakistan Armed Forces, acknowledging their vital role in ensuring peace and stability at home and across the region. They also appreciated the DG ISPR’s transparent and engaging discussion, emphasizing that such interactions are essential to combat propaganda and enhance public understanding of national security issues.
In his concluding remarks, the DG ISPR reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s unwavering commitment to defending the homeland, promoting peace, and empowering the youth as partners in national development. “Pakistan’s future belongs to those who combine intellect with integrity, courage with compassion, and education with national purpose,” he said. “Together, we will continue to strengthen our country’s defense, unity, and destiny.”
