Two Terrorists Killed, Two Injured as Police Foil Attack on Peshawar’s Hassan Khel Police Station

Police foiled a terrorist attack on a police station in Peshawar’s Hassan Khel area, killing two terrorists and injuring two others in a swift and effective counter-operation. Elite Force contingents were also deployed to reinforce the area and assist in the operation.

According to police officials, heavily armed terrorists launched an assault on the Hassan Khel Police Station, triggering a fierce exchange of fire. The attackers used heavy weapons, and the situation initially remained tense.

Police responded with full force, killing two terrorists on the spot and injuring two others. Officials said reports suggested that additional assailants might still be present in the vicinity, prompting an extensive search operation.

Following the attack, heavy police reinforcements and Elite Force commandos arrived to secure the perimeter and eliminate any remaining threats. The area has been cordoned off, and search and clearance operations are underway.

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar confirmed that police have brought the situation under control and are ensuring complete security of the area. He said the police force demonstrated remarkable courage and professionalism in repelling the attack and preventing major loss of life or damage.

Security across the city has been placed on high alert, while law enforcement agencies continue to pursue those involved in the attack to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region.
