Six Terrorists Eliminated, Three Policemen Martyred as Attack on Police Training School in Dera Ismail Khan Thwarted

A deadly attack by Khawarij on the Police Training School in Ratta Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan, was successfully foiled late last night as police personnel bravely repelled the assault, killing six Khawarij and preventing a major tragedy.

According to details, the Khawarij launched an armed assault on the training school late at night using heavy weapons. Security personnel on duty responded immediately and forcefully, thwarting the attackers’ nefarious designs. The assailants rammed an explosives-laden truck into the school’s main gate, causing part of the boundary wall to collapse, resulting in the martyrdom of one policeman. The attackers, dressed in various uniforms, then entered the premises and opened indiscriminate fire. A police constable fought valiantly, engaging the Khawarij despite heavy fire and grenade attacks, and embraced martyrdom during the exchange.

An intense gun battle ensued and continued for several hours as the Khawarij repeatedly hurled grenades. Upon receiving the report, District Police Officer Sahibzada Sajjad Ahmad swiftly reached the site with a large contingent of police and took command of the operation.
