Four Terrorists Eliminated in Successful CTD Operation in Pishin

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Pishin, foiling a major terror plot and recovering a cache of arms and explosives. A CTD spokesperson said the terrorists were armed with two sub-machine guns, two pistols and hand grenades. Explosive material, prima cord and detonators were also seized from the hideout.

Initial investigations confirmed that the slain terrorists were involved in an IED attack on a Frontier Corps (FC) truck, an armed assault on Levies personnel, and the targeted killing of two policemen in 2022. Security officials stated that the operation reflects the determination of law enforcement agencies to dismantle terrorist networks and ensure lasting peace and stability in Balochistan.
