Terrorists from the banned Fitna al-Khawarij attempted to blow up the Government Primary School in Malakhel, Wanda Zahid Gul, Lakki Marwat, using an IED, once again demonstrating their hostility toward education.

According to local sources, the explosion caused partial damage to the school building, while the militants escaped after carrying out the attack.

Officials and community members condemned the attack, noting that Fitna al-Khawarij often pose as protectors of religion and tribal traditions, yet their actions undermine the future of Pashtun children. Attacks on schools reflect their anti-development agenda and opposition to knowledge and education, despite Islam’s first command being the pursuit of education.

“By targeting innocent children and schools, this group aims to push future generations into the darkness of ignorance, contrary to their false claims of protecting society,” local observers said.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s security forces, with the cooperation of local communities, are committed to restoring the damaged school and continuing efforts to thwart the militants’ anti-people schemes.
