A tragic incident has occurred in Iran’s Sistan and Balochistan province, where five police officers were martyred in a deadly attack. According to Iranian police, the assault took place when militants ambushed two patrol units of the police at a local station.
The attack occurred in the city of Khash while Iranian security forces were conducting operations to ensure the safety of citizens. Authorities confirmed that the officers were stationed in the area to protect the local population at the time of the incident.
