An FC personnel, identified as Muhammad Amjad, was tragically shot dead in Peshawar’s Regi area near a cemetery. Sources confirmed that the incident occurred when Amjad, a resident of Mughal Zai, Tehkal Bala, was targeted by gunmen while he was sitting on a motorcycle. He was shot at close range and died on the spot.
Following the attack, law enforcement agencies quickly responded. SP Warsak Division Sajjad Hussain, SHO Regi Police Station, and the investigation team arrived at the scene and recovered four .30 bore shell casings. Initial investigations are underway to piece together the details of the attack.
Eyewitnesses, including children who were grazing livestock nearby, reported seeing two men on a motorcycle. One of the suspects wore a cream-colored helmet, and both appeared to be carrying a shopping bag containing food items. After sitting briefly and eating, one of the suspects shot the victim with a pistol and fled the scene on the motorcycle.
Authorities have reached out to the victim’s family, and an in-depth investigation has been launched to uncover the motive behind this targeted killing. Various angles of the case are being explored, and efforts are being made to identify the suspects and bring them to justice.
