Pakistan has forcefully rejected recent Indian claims regarding the so-called Operation Mahadev, calling them utterly baseless, fictitious, and politically motivated. Responding to inflammatory remarks made in the Indian Parliament, the Foreign Office stated that such assertions carry “no relevance or credibility whatsoever” for Pakistan and are part of India’s continued disinformation campaign aimed at deflecting attention from its own failures.
In a strongly worded statement, the Foreign Office condemned Indian leaders’ provocative and unfounded comments about Operation Sandoor, which were made without investigation, evidence, or due process. “Pakistan categorically rejects the Indian leadership’s irresponsible rhetoric, which reflects a dangerous trend of warmongering and a deliberate attempt to escalate regional tensions,” the spokesperson said.
He revealed that on the night between May 6 and 7, India conducted an unprovoked and illegal military strike on Pakistani territory without establishing responsibility for the Pahalgam incident. “India acted as judge, jury, and executioner — in blatant violation of international law. Innocent Pakistani men, women, and children were martyred in this act of naked aggression,” the spokesperson noted.
He added that Pakistan’s Armed Forces responded with precision, successfully neutralising Indian fighter aircraft and degrading key military targets — a response that remains an undeniable and irrefutable reality.
The spokesperson urged the Indian leadership to abandon its policy of deception and acknowledge the truth about the losses suffered by its armed forces. “India must stop misleading its own public with false triumphalism and instead demonstrate maturity by accepting third-party facilitation for ceasefire enforcement and conflict de-escalation,” he stated.
Regarding the so-called Operation Mahadev, the spokesperson dismissed the Indian Home Minister’s account as “a concocted political script” designed for domestic consumption. “The story being peddled in the Indian Parliament is riddled with inconsistencies and theatrical exaggerations. Is it mere coincidence that the alleged perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack were conveniently eliminated just as the Lok Sabha debate commenced?” he asked.
He reaffirmed that Pakistan will never tolerate any breach of its sovereignty and stands fully prepared to deliver a resolute and forceful response to any future act of aggression.
“The Indian leadership must understand — Pakistan’s resolve is unwavering. Any adventurism will be met with a response that will be swift, decisive, and undeniable,” the spokesperson warned.
Separately, the Foreign Office briefed on Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar’s recent visit to the United States from July 20 to 28, during which he presided over a session of the United Nations Security Council. He effectively presented Pakistan’s position on critical regional and global issues and held key meetings, including with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, to discuss evolving geopolitical developments.
