In a cowardly act of terrorism, terrorists linked to Fitna al-Hindustan carried out an improvised explosive device (IED) attack on a temporary security checkpoint in the Manjhoo Shori area of Naseerabad district. At least two security personnel were injured in the blast.
According to sources, the checkpoint had been established to provide security for a passing convoy of security forces. Following the explosion, a search and clearance operation was immediately launched in the area to locate the perpetrators and secure the vicinity.
Security sources emphasized that such attacks would not deter the morale or resolve of the forces. Instead, they see these acts as desperate attempts by militants facing increasing pressure and shrinking operational space. The attack is viewed as evidence of growing frustration within militant ranks as security operations intensify across the region.
Operations are ongoing, and security forces remain on high alert to prevent further sabotage attempts.
