Eight Khawarij Eliminated While Infiltrating from Afghanistan in Precision Bajaur Operation

Pakistani security forces thwarted a major cross-border infiltration attempt, eliminating eight Khawarij and injuring up to a dozen others in a swift and precise intelligence-based operation in the Loi Mamund area of Bajaur. According to security sources, the operation was launched after credible intelligence revealed the movement of armed Khawarij attempting to enter Pakistani territory from Afghanistan. As the infiltrators crossed into the border region, they were swiftly engaged by security forces in a decisive firefight.

“Eight Khawarij were neutralised while 10 to 12 others sustained injuries. The group was involved in multiple acts of sabotage and targeted violence,” a senior security official confirmed.

Security along all internal and external routes has been significantly tightened to prevent any escape or further infiltration. Additional check-posts have been established, and surveillance in the border belt has been intensified.

Officials stated that the operation will continue until the area is fully cleared and all remaining threats are eliminated. “The pursuit will not stop until the last Khawarij operative is dealt with,” the official affirmed. The action marks a critical blow to cross-border terrorist networks and reflects Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to secure its frontiers and maintain lasting peace in the region.
