From Occupation to Extermination Economy”: UN Official Exposes Corporate Profiteering from Gaza Genocide

UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese has dropped a damning report accusing 48 major international corporations, including U.S.-based tech and arms giants, of profiting from Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.

In her report titled “From Occupation Economy to Genocide Economy”, Albanese lays bare how companies from sectors such as AI, weapons manufacturing, marketing, and IT are fueling—and benefiting from—Israel’s military onslaught.

> “These corporations are not just complicit—they are profiting from bloodshed,” Albanese declared.

She has called for:Immediate termination of trade and financial ties with Israel A global ban on arms exports to Tel Aviv

Accountability for corporations aiding in war crimes Speaking to the UN Human Rights Council, Albanese described Gaza as a “death trap”, engineered to kill, displace, and devastate. What’s happening in Gaza is one of the most brutal genocides in modern history,” she said.
“It’s not just a war—it’s an economy of extermination.”

The explosive report is igniting global outrage and placing renewed pressure on governments and corporations to cut ties with Israel’s war economy—before complicity turns into full-blown international guilt.
