In a brazen act of cross-border aggression, armed operatives linked to Fitna-al-Hindustan launched a coordinated attack on a Levies checkpost in the Kachki area of Nushki district, Balochistan, late Saturday night torching official property and looting state-issued weapons in what officials have condemned as a deliberate attempt to destabilize the region.
Local sources confirmed that during the assault, the attackers set fire to the checkpost facility, completely destroying an official government vehicle, a motorcycle, and the security post’s structure. The attackers also seized multiple weapons from Levies personnel before escaping under the cover of darkness.
Remarkably, no casualties were reported in the incident.
In response, security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and initiated a large-scale search and clearance operation to track down those responsible and prevent further incursions.
Authorities have described the attack as part of a continuing pattern of subversive operations by Fitna-al-Hindustan, aimed at undermining peace and targeting state institutions in Balochistan. Security officials reiterated their commitment to thwarting such hostile designs and restoring stability in the affected region.
