Prime Minister’s Adviser and former federal minister Rana Sanaullah has said that a decisive crackdown against terrorists is now underway, following recent attacks including the deadly school bus bombing in Khuzdar.

Speaking on a private news channel, Sanaullah strongly condemned the targeting of innocent children in Balochistan, stating, “This is not an act of humanity. Pakistan will become an unlivable space for terrorists.”

He added that the government is also prepared to give a firm diplomatic response to India at forums such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), following evidence of Indian involvement in sponsoring terrorism on Pakistani soil.

Commenting on national security spending, the PM’s adviser said there is a growing consensus on the need to increase the defence budget. “There have been repeated discussions on enhancing defence allocations,” he noted. “Field Marshal Asim Munir has emphasized the same, that the budget must be increased without placing additional burden on the public.”

On the political front, Rana Sanaullah reiterated the government’s commitment to dialogue, but warned against violent agitation. “The Prime Minister has offered talks to PTI on multiple occasions, on all major issues,” he said. “But if PTI resorts once again to violent protests and vandalism, the state will not allow it.”
