Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has hailed the Pakistan Armed Forces as the pride of the nation, stating that it is only due to their sacrifices that the country enjoys peace and stability today.
Speaking at a ceremony held at the Arts Council Karachi, CM Murad said, “Our armed forces are the pride of Pakistan. We owe our peaceful lives to their unflinching dedication and bravery.” His remarks come amid renewed tensions with India, drawing attention to the shifting dynamics of regional security.
Criticising India’s double standards, the Chief Minister pointed out, “Pakistan has always condemned acts of terrorism in India, but India has never denounced the terrorist attacks occurring in Pakistan.” He also accused India of targeting innocent civilians inside Pakistan while asserting that Pakistan’s responses have remained measured and focused solely on eliminating threats from their origin points.
Highlighting past confrontations, Murad Ali Shah referenced Pakistan’s successful downing of Indian Rafale fighter jets as a moment that shattered India’s arrogance. “Pakistan not only defended itself with courage but also proved its strength by bringing down India’s much-hyped jets,” he said.
He further praised the exemplary leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, who, according to Shah, has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and strategic acumen on the global stage. “Our civil and military leadership faced these trying times with patience, wisdom, and unshakeable resolve,” he added.
As India continues to face diplomatic isolation over its aggressive posturing, CM Murad asserted that the international community is beginning to recognize the contrast between Pakistan’s responsible conduct and India’s provocations. “The world is now acknowledging Pakistan’s restraint and maturity, and India’s isolation, both regionally and globally, is evident,” he concluded.
The event was marked by patriotic fervour and support for the military, with attendees applauding the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s armed forces in ensuring national sovereignty and peace.
