Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar departed for China on a high-level diplomatic mission, declaring that India stands fully exposed before the world and that the baseless allegations against Pakistan have lost all credibility.
Speaking to media at the airport prior to his departure, Dar said, “India’s malicious campaign has collapsed under the weight of truth. The international community now sees through the falsehoods leveled against Pakistan.” He emphasized that China remains Pakistan’s unwavering iron brother, and that the visit will further solidify the two countries’ time-tested strategic partnership.
Dar stated that the visit would focus not only on enhancing bilateral ties but also on discussing regional security, including the recent escalation in Pakistan-India tensions. “Our consultations with the Chinese leadership will cover all dimensions of our relationship, as well as pressing global and regional developments,” he added.
The Deputy Prime Minister’s visit comes at a time when the Modi-led government faces growing international scrutiny over its state-sponsored terrorism, unprovoked aggression, and grave human rights violations. Dar is expected to present Pakistan’s position forcefully and lay bare the Modi regime’s actions before a key global ally.
Officials confirmed that the visit will include comprehensive talks on Pakistan-China cooperation, regional stability, and coordination on multilateral platforms. The presence of Afghanistan’s Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi in China may also provide an opportunity for trilateral discussions on peace and regional connectivity.
Meanwhile, on a separate diplomatic front, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has launched a parallel international campaign. Leading a high-level delegation, he will visit the United States, United Kingdom, Russia, and key European capitals to present Pakistan’s case on the global stage and engage in high-level diplomacy.
