Baloch Yakjehti Committee Unmasked as Propaganda Arm for Banned Terror Outfits

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has been exposed as more than just a so-called civil rights group — it is operating as a political cover for terrorist propaganda in Balochistan.

New evidence has emerged linking the BYC to anti-state activities and direct alignment with banned terrorist organisations such as the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF).

While presenting itself as a voice for the people, BYC actively echoes the narratives of banned militant outfits, shielding their violent activities behind carefully crafted disinformation. Recent investigations and social media analyses reveal that BYC is playing a central role in spreading anti-state sentiment, defending terrorists, and manipulating public perception under the guise of human rights advocacy.

The BYC consistently propagates the same hostile narrative promoted by these terror outfits and their foreign backers, most notably the Indian intelligence agency, RAW.

Operating under the guise of a rights-based advocacy group, BYC has emerged as a political front and propaganda arm of these militant organisations. It provides political cover for their violent acts, including attacks on security forces, targeted killings, and indiscriminate firing on innocent civilians.

Despite the brutality of these actions, BYC never condemns the terrorists. Instead, it launches calculated disinformation campaigns against state institutions, seeking to erode public trust in law enforcement and the military.

This is not a case of misunderstanding or misinformation—it is a deliberate, coordinated strategy to shield terrorists and criminal elements while maligning the security forces who risk their lives to restore peace in Balochistan.

A striking example is the fabricated case of Rokia Baloch—an incident for which no official complaint, media report, or credible testimony existed until BYC began aggressively promoting it without providing a shred of verifiable evidence. The motive was clear: to create a diversion from actual terrorist atrocities and paint security forces as the villains. According to reliable sources, this campaign was orchestrated under direct instructions from BYC’s foreign handlers, following India’s diplomatic and strategic setback on 10 May. The aim was to stoke unrest in Balochistan by manipulating public sentiment through falsehoods and emotional exploitation.

Moreover, BYC’s hypocrisy is laid bare by its contradictory positions. When individuals disappear or are apprehended by law enforcement due to their militant affiliations, BYC labels it as an “enforced disappearance” and blames state institutions. But when those same individuals are later killed in armed confrontations with the security forces, BYC suddenly claims them as “martyrs of the liberation struggle.” This duplicitous behaviour exposes BYC’s real agenda: to glorify terrorists, demonise the state, and justify violence in the name of a separatist cause.

These tactics are not only dishonest—they are a direct threat to national security and public peace. Campaigning for the release of known terrorists, framing arrests as political oppression, and spreading anti-state propaganda under the cover of activism is a gross insult to the rule of law and a calculated attempt to destabilise the country.

It is imperative for the public and international observers to recognize the true nature of BYC. Far from being a human rights group, it functions as a legitimising force for terrorism, using selective outrage and false narratives to wage an information war against Pakistan. The state must continue to expose and confront such elements with resolve and transparency, ensuring that the sacrifices of our security forces and the safety of our citizens are not undermined by the lies of those who serve hostile agendas.
