634 More Undocumented Afghan Nationals Deported in Past 24 Hours; Total Repatriations Reach 546,285

The repatriation of Afghan nationals residing in Pakistan continues, with 634 more undocumented migrants deported over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of returnees to 546,285 since September 2023.

According to a report issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home Department, a total of 825 individuals were facilitated in returning to Afghanistan during the last 24 hours. Of these, 823 were repatriated via the Torkham border and two through the Angoor Adda crossing.

The report noted that 634 of those repatriated were residing illegally in Pakistan, while 191 Afghan nationals holding valid Afghan Citizen Registration (ACR) cards opted for voluntary return.

The repatriation process, carried out in two phases since its inception in September 2023, reflects the government’s continued commitment to enforcing immigration regulations while ensuring safe and dignified returns in coordination with relevant authorities.
