Security forces conducted a major intelligence-based operation in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, killing 40 terrorists who were attempting to illegally cross the border from Afghanistan into Pakistan.
According to security sources, the terrorists were affiliated with the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, which has already been declared “Fitna al-Khawarij” by the State of Pakistan. Acting on timely intelligence, security forces monitored the movement of the terrorists and launched an effective and decisive action to neutralize the threat.
Officials stated that the terrorists were intercepted during their infiltration attempt, and a comprehensive search and clearance operation is continuing in the area to eliminate any remaining threats and ensure lasting security.
