Rawalpindi – In a major counter-terrorism success, Pakistani Security Forces eliminated four Khawarij terrorists during a high-stakes intelligence-based operation in the Madi area of Dera Ismail Khan District, the military confirmed.
Acting on confirmed intelligence reports regarding the presence of militants, security personnel swiftly launched a precision operation. As troops engaged the terrorists, a fierce exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the elimination of four hardcore Khawarij operatives — all of whom were involved in numerous terror activities in the region.
Tragically, the nation mourns the loss of a brave soldier, Sepoy Basit Siddique, aged 23, from District Attock, who fought valiantly and embraced martyrdom in the line of duty.
Weapons and a large cache of ammunition were recovered from the dead terrorists. A sanitization operation is currently underway to clear the area of any remaining threats.
The Pakistan Armed Forces reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism in all its forms. “The sacrifice of our martyrs only strengthens our resolve to wipe out every last trace of this menace,” stated military officials.
