The spokesperson for Pakistan’s armed forces has condemned India’s recent cross-border aggression, labeling it “an act of state terrorism” after 31 innocent civilians, including children, were martyred in attacks carried out during the night between the 6th and 7th.
In a press conference, Director General ISPR questioned, “Are these children—who were meant to see the beauty of life—the terrorists India claims to be targeting?” He stated that Pakistan has long anticipated such acts of brutality from India, and the country stands ready to respond with full force.
The DG ISPR pointed to concrete evidence of India’s involvement in promoting terrorism, stating that the international community now openly recognizes India’s hand in violence and bloodshed across the region.
Highlighting India’s desperation, the spokesperson noted that as Pakistan began tightening the noose around terrorists, India resorted to direct military terrorism—targeting innocent civilians and religious sanctities, including mosques and the Holy Qur’an.
“This is not just terrorism, it’s a crime against humanity and religion,” he said. “Which religion permits the desecration of places of worship and holy books?”
In contrast, Pakistan’s military response was calculated and restrained, targeting only military installations used to attack Pakistan. The DG ISPR revealed that Pakistan Air Force successfully shot down India’s modern aircraft, and presented visuals showing destroyed brigade headquarters and posts along the Line of Control (LoC).
He further revealed that India’s continued provocations and cross-border violations are being met with robust responses, to the extent that Indian forces have begun raising white flags in multiple sectors—an indication of their retreat.
“Alhamdulillah, not a single Pakistani soldier or aircraft was harmed during these skirmishes,” the DG added. International and independent media were also invited to affected areas such as Muridke, where they witnessed the ground reality.
He disclosed a chilling detail: at the time of the Indian attack, 67 commercial airliners carrying hundreds of passengers were airborne—India’s actions jeopardized civilian lives from multiple nations.
Ending his statement, the DG ISPR expressed unwavering faith in the Pakistani nation and its armed forces, emphasizing unity in defense of the homeland. “We will never compromise on the safety of our people. The nation has united behind its military, and for that, we salute every citizen of Pakistan,” he concluded.
