Preliminary field reports from South Waziristan indicate that Pakistani security forces conducted a series of precision strikes on suspected Khawarij movements late Monday in the Manrah and Mutak Kaley areas. According to local accounts, a pickup-style vehicle allegedly used by members of the outlawed group often referred to by officials as Khawarij were targeted, leaving the vehicle badly damaged.

Witnesses claim a subsequent strike injured three militants; two of them reportedly succumbed to their wounds later, with one said to be an Afghan national. A short time afterward, a third strike was reported along an unpaved road near Mutak Kaley, where another militant vehicle was targeted. Two fighters were believed injured while others reportedly abandoned the damaged pickup and retreated.

Security forces are said to have followed up with direct fire, igniting the vehicle during a brief exchange of fire. Unconfirmed reports mention that a figure identified by some sources as commander Fateh sustained injuries alongside his associates.

Informal tallies circulating in the area speak of three fatalities and five wounded across the engagements, but independent verification and an official statement from the military are still awaited. Analysts urge caution, noting that early battlefield claims can shift as facts are corroborated.
