17 Khawarij Eliminated, 24 Injured in Operation Sarbakaf in Bajaur

Seventeen Khawarij—most of them Afghan nationals have been eliminated during Operation Sarbakaf, a full-scale clearance operation launched by the Pakistan Armed Forces in the Bajaur district. In addition to the fatalities, 24 Khawarij sustained injuries, while four of the wounded were captured alive by security personnel.

The operation, which commenced with high-precision strikes and ground maneuvers, is being spearheaded by elite units including the Special Services Group (SSG), Special Operations Group (SOG), and Light Commandos. These forces remain actively engaged in eliminating the remaining pockets of resistance and dismantling the operational infrastructure of the Khawarij.

Operation Sarbakaf reflects the state’s firm resolve to rid the region of extremist elements and ensure lasting stability. The Pakistan Armed Forces remain steadfast in their commitment to safeguarding national security and eradicating all threats to peace.
