In a major blow to the banned terrorist group Fitna al-Khwarij, security forces in the Karak District targeted a key formation of the terrorist group, killing six terrorists and injuring five others.
According to security sources, the operation was launched after intelligence reports indicated the presence of 20-25 terrorists, including notorious commander Kaleemullah alias Saifullah, in the Manzali ridge area. Following a fierce exchange of fire, six terrorists were killed and five others sustained injuries.
In response to the potential presence of more terrorists, security forces cordoned off the area and initiated a thorough search operation, ensuring no further threats lingered.
The successful operation highlights the continued efforts of Pakistan’s security forces to neutralise threats posed by extremist elements, ensuring the safety and security of the region.
