The Lahore Airport has witnessed no untoward incident, contrary to the false news circulating on social media, an official clarified on Saturday.
SP Cantt said that a baseless propaganda-driven report regarding an alleged explosion of an air defense system battery and casualties among personnel was being spread across various social media groups. He categorically stated that there was no truth whatsoever to these claims.
He further confirmed that normal operations were continuing uninterrupted at the Lahore Airport.
The SP urged the public not to fall prey to malicious and unfounded propaganda and advised against sharing unverified information.
