Another false narrative by India has reportedly been exposed, as claims of neutralising “infiltrators” along the Line of Control (LoC) on April 23 crumble under scrutiny. Sources and eyewitness accounts have revealed that the two individuals killed were not cross-border infiltrators but local, peaceful residents of Sajjiur village.
Indian authorities alleged that two “infiltrators” were killed attempting to cross into Indian territory. However, stark contradictions between the official account, photographic evidence, and the timeline of events suggest a staged incident designed to promote a fabricated security narrative.
The deceased, identified as Malik Farooq (son of Siddique) and Muhammad Deen (son of Jamal-ud-Din), were reported missing by their families on the morning of April 22—well before the claimed incident of infiltration. This crucial timeline undermines India’s assertion, indicating the two men were not involved in any cross-border activity at the time.
Photographs released by Indian sources raise serious doubts. One of the bodies appears in unusually clean clothing and polished black shoes—an implausible sight for anyone allegedly navigating treacherous, muddy terrain. No visible signs of a firefight, blood, or mud were found on the weapon or the body. Similarly, the second individual had no gear typically associated with military infiltration—no ammunition, food supplies, or tactical equipment. One was reportedly carrying only a pistol, highly uncharacteristic of any trained infiltrator.
Villagers and the victims’ families have confirmed that both men had no militant affiliations and were known in the area as law-abiding, peaceful citizens. Their brutal killing, locals allege, was an extrajudicial act falsely framed as a counter-infiltration success.
Security analysts argue this incident aligns with a broader pattern of false flag tactics used to fuel anti-Pakistan rhetoric and distract from internal issues. Human rights advocates are calling for an impartial international investigation into the killings, urging the global community to take serious notice of what they term “a gross violation of human rights.”
This latest revelation adds to the growing list of questionable actions attributed to Indian forces along the LoC—raising further concerns over the use of misinformation and staged narratives for political or strategic gain.
