Fake Video Circulated by Indian Accounts Linked to RAW Claims Attack on Pakistani Post

Several Indian social media accounts reportedly linked to India’s intelligence agency, RAW, have circulated a fake video claiming that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants attacked and destroyed a Pakistani military post in Orakzai district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to official sources, the video being used in this propaganda campaign has no connection to Pakistan. Verification by independent digital investigators and open-source monitoring confirms that the footage actually belongs to southern Lebanon, depicting the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike. The same visuals have already been broadcast by several international media outlets.

Authorities described the campaign as part of a broader disinformation drive originating from Indian networks under various social media handles, including “Fitna al-Hindustan,” aimed at maligning Pakistan’s security forces and spreading false narratives about internal instability.

Officials reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully vigilant, and such fabricated content cannot mislead the public or undermine the country’s resolve against terrorism. They further urged social media users to verify information before sharing and to report suspicious propaganda designed to distort facts and promote hostile agendas.
