Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Adviser to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information, has strongly denied the fake news circulating about a drone strike allegedly carried out by khawarij in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Barrister Saif stated that a fabricated and baseless news item is being falsely attributed to him on social media. He categorically denied making any such statement and clarified that he has not issued any news or comment to the media today regarding Mir Ali.
The misleading reports claimed that a drone strike targeted a residential house in the village of Harmuz in Mir Ali, resulting in the loss of innocent lives. However, upon investigation, it was revealed that the news is completely false and was being spread deliberately by elements associated with extremist groups to serve their malicious agenda.
