The so-called claims by the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) and affiliated militant groups about taking control of towns, in Zehri, and hoisting their flags are nothing more than false propaganda, the security sources confirmed on Wednesday.

In reality, a targeted security operation in Zehri, Balochistan, resulted in the elimination of 20 armed terrorists, effectively neutralising their presence in the region. According to official statements, Zehri has been completely cleared of militant elements, and control has been fully restored by the security forces.

The operation, carried out with precision and intelligence-based coordination, also played a significant role in rebuilding public confidence, which had been shaken by repeated disinformation campaigns launched by anti-state groups.

Authorities have urged citizens to remain vigilant against divisive narratives, particularly those being pushed as part of what they called the “Fitna-e-Hindustan”, a reference to Indian-backed terror activities intended to destabilise Balochistan and mislead local populations.

“There is no truth to the militants’ claims. The situation on the ground is stable, and the state maintains full control,” a security official stated.
“The public must not fall for foreign-sponsored lies designed to incite unrest.”

The statement underscores the state’s continued resolve to counter terrorism and separatism, while reinforcing its efforts to maintain law and order and protect the rights and lives of citizens in volatile regions.
